The owner of this property wanted this project done for the following reasons:

1. To manage the steep hill down from the current driveway and side yard access

2. To better control drainage on the steep property side hill

3. To provide more level parking at the house level

4. To provide access to the bottom of the steep side yard via gentle sloping trail

5. To provide level landscaping for plants and bushes

6. To add aesthetics and value to the property
