Mill Bay Retaining Wall Allan Block Overview

Property eroded up to the back fence of the pool which was in danger of caving away

  1. the layout of the property prevented the use of large equipment to move rock and Allan blocks
  2. 450 tons of rock hand carried and placed to build out the retaining wall, pathways and flower beds
  3. 3200 Allan blocks hand carried and placed to build 6 tiered walls, the longest about 80 feet, to stabilize the hill
  4. Features: lighthouse, pond, waterfall and slate pathways
