Deck main supporting beam and some of the joists had rotted and split and needed replacing.

The metal railing was removed and set aside for reuse.

The entire deck was removed and replaced with a new beam and joists.

The deck was resurfaced with composite decking for appearance, finish and long life.

The deck was strapped lengthwise so the composite decking could be installed across the width without any joints.

New deck stairs were built and the metal railings were reinstalled.
