The original driveway stairs on this property were built with a wooden frame and poured concrete in the frame.
Over time the wood frame was rotting away and the floating concrete steps had sunk below the wood frame plus the railing was falling off.
After the original wood frame was removed a small concrete retaining wall was installed to hold back the driveway bank.
The new stairs were framed with rebar to support a complete one piece stair system.
The concrete pour was done in one session to produce a solid one piece stairway.
For a stronger railing support, bolts were cast in the concrete for the new railings.
The house number pedestal was also straightened with a new footing after a car hit it.
