Mill Bay Retaining Wall Overview
Property eroded up to the back fence of the pool which was in danger of caving away
- the layout of the property prevented the use of large equipment to move rock and Allan blocks
- 450 tons of rock hand carried and placed to build out the retaining wall, pathways and flower beds
- 3200 Allan blocks hand carried and placed to build 6 tiered walls, the longest about 80 feet, to stabilize the hill
- Features: lighthouse, pond, waterfall and slate pathways
